Our Team

Crystal Gibson joined MWZM in May 2024 and serves as the Firm’s Director of Litigation. Crystal was born and raised in the small north central Texas town of Electra where she graduated Valedictorian of her class. She went on to attend Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, Texas, where she graduated cum laude in 1997 with a double major in Political Science and Criminal Justice. Crystal fulfilled her father’s dream when she obtained her J.D. from Texas Tech University School of Law in 2000.  She was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 2000 and the State Bar of Arkansas in 2007.

Crystal has over twenty-four years of litigation experience representing companies across Texas in mortgage-lending litigation, personal injury, mass tort, products liability, premises liability, and commercial transactions. Crystal has successfully argued and obtained summary judgment in hundreds of cases dismissing all claims against her clients with prejudice, attended numerous mediations leading to favorable settlements, and prevailed in at least sixteen mortgage-lending related state court appeals in various appellate courts across Texas as well as two federal Fifth Circuit appeals where she served as co-counsel.
