Gavin Cox
Associate Attorney
Gavin Cox was born and raised in Nashville, Tennessee, and graduated as Salutatorian from White House Heritage High School in 2015. During high school, he served as captain of his soccer team and was an avid cross-country runner. He went on to attend the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, where he earned a double major in Political Science and Philosophy, graduating in 2019. During his undergraduate years, Gavin was active in Greek Life as a member of Delta Tau Delta Fraternity, fundraising for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Fund (JDRF), and worked throughout college as a server in Market Square.
Gavin earned his J.D. from Lincoln Memorial University Duncan School of Law in 2022, graduating cum laude. While in law school, he competed as an oral advocate for LMU’s Moot Court Organization and gained practical experience through internships with the Knox County and Anderson County Public Defender’s Offices. He returned to the Knox County Public Defender’s Office as a clerk during his final semester of law school.
At Mackie Wolf Zientz & Mann, P.C., Gavin focuses on foreclosure and eviction matters. He is committed to navigating clients through the legal process with professionalism and efficiency, while upholding the highest standards of diligence and advocacy.
Outside of work, Gavin enjoys playing guitar, playing soccer, and spending time with his family, including his two beloved dogs and wife. He is also a passionate follower of the English Premier League and a devoted supporter of Chelsea Football Club.
