John R. Osborne, Jr. joined Mackie Wolf in 2024 as a Senior Litigator. Prior to joining MWZM he practiced solo for ten years specializing in business litigation and estate law. He spent the first thirteen years of his legal career at a mortgage servicing boutique which represented mortgage lenders and servicers from origination to default including title review, evictions and bankruptcy proceedings. He earned a Bachelors of Business Administration from Sam Houston State University in 1993 where he also played football and was a member of the Sigma Chi Fraternity. After working several years for SBC (now AT&T) he attended law school at Texas Tech University where he earned his Juris Doctorate along with a Masters in Business Administration in 2000. John is a member of the State Bar of Texas and is licensed in the U.S. District and Bankruptcy Courts in Texas. He is also a member of the Houston Mortgage Bankers Association.
